At last night’s Golden Gobes, Jake Gyllenhaal’s date was his ex-girlfriend, Jenny Lewis.
Could he be moving on so quickly after dating Taylor Swift? And is Jenny Lewis more appropriate for Jake Gyllenhaal than Taylor Swift was?
Jake and Taylor together always gave me a bit of the creeps, since Taylor Swift seems so young. Jenny Lewis looks to be a better fit. But, the two dated back in 2001 and have remained friends. So, perhaps she was just doing him a favor by being his date so he didn’t have to show up solo.
Jenny Lewis is best known as the lead singer of Rilo Kiley and is rumored to be romantically linked to Johnathan Rice.
Just a couple weeks after he reportedly broke the singer's heart, Jake Gyllenhaal showed up at the event with ex-girlfriend Jenny Lewis.
The star, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical for Love and Other Drugs, walked the red carpet with his former fling, an actress who appeared in Troop Beverly Hills and Foxfire. That's not an impressive resume. But, if this couple is back on, you're looking at one impressive catch for Lewis.
But, we’ll see if there is more between Jake Gyllenhaal and Jenny Lewis than just friendship.
